FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Have a question that's not answered below? Email support@pointstack.app.
What is PointStack?
PointStack is a fantasy football dashboard that brings all of your leagues — and your prop bets — into one live gameday view.
You add each league once with your roster and scoring settings, then just watch: matchup scores, player stats, and prop progress all update live in a single place throughout the day, instead of juggling separate apps every Sunday.
Does PointStack connect directly to my fantasy platform account?
Yahoo Fantasy leagues sync directly — connect your Yahoo account and PointStack pulls your roster, matchup, and scoring settings automatically each week, no manual entry required.
Other platforms (Sleeper, ESPN, CBS, Fantrax, and more) work through manual entry today: you add your league's roster spots and scoring settings once, then enter your starters and your opponent's starters each week. Because it's manual, it works no matter which platform you actually play on. Direct sync for these is on our roadmap — we'll let you know as more platforms are added.
PointStack scores your rosters — synced or manually entered — live using the same real-time stats engine across every league on your dashboard.
Can I try PointStack before signing up?
Yes. Click Explore Live Demo on the landing page to tour the dashboard with realistic fake data — no account or credit card needed. The demo shows you exactly what the app looks like with leagues and prop bets added and live scores updating. Additionally, PointStack will be available for free for weeks 1 and 2 of the 2026 fantasy football season.
How much does PointStack cost?
PointStack is $15 for the season pass — a one-time payment covering the full season, Week 1 through end of season. Prefer to pay as you go? There's also a $3.99/mo option that auto-renews and cancels automatically at the end of the season.
Weeks 1 and 2 are free — no credit card required to get started.
Can I use PointStack to change my lineup or make trades?
No. PointStack is a viewing dashboard — it shows you the rosters and live scores you've entered but doesn't make any changes to your actual leagues. You'll still make lineup changes, trades, and waiver claims in your platform's own app; just update your roster on PointStack afterward so it stays in sync.
How do I create an account?
- Click Get Started on the landing page
- Enter your name, email address, and a password (at least 8 characters)
- Check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the link inside
- Once confirmed, log back in and start connecting your platforms
I didn't receive my confirmation email. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder first — confirmation emails sometimes land there. The email will come from support@pointstack.app.
If you still can't find it after a few minutes, try signing up again with the same email address to get a fresh link. If the problem persists, email us at support@pointstack.app.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, click Forgot password? and enter your email address. You'll receive a link to set a new password. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a minute or two.
How do I connect my Yahoo Fantasy league?
Open Manage Leagues on the dashboard and click Connect Yahoo. You'll be redirected to Yahoo to sign in and authorize PointStack — once approved, your Yahoo league(s), roster, matchup, and scoring settings sync automatically each week. No manual entry needed.
You can disconnect a synced Yahoo league at any time from the same Manage Leagues screen.
How do I add a league?
- Open Manage Accounts on the dashboard and click + Add Manual League (or use the button on the empty dashboard state)
- Name your league and your team, and set your opponent's team name
- Configure your roster slots (QB, RB, WR, TE, FLEX, K, D/ST, etc.) and your scoring settings to match your real league
- Enter your starting roster and your opponent's starting roster for the current week
On the scoring step, you can click a platform preset (Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo, or CBS) to pre-fill every scoring field with that platform's real default settings, instead of typing 30+ values by hand. Presets are just a starting point — every field stays fully editable afterward, so you can adjust anything that doesn't match your actual league (custom bonuses, non-standard PPR, etc.).
PointStack scores your entered rosters live using the same real-time stats engine across every league on your dashboard, so it updates right alongside everything else.
How do I update my roster each week?
Find your league card on the dashboard and click Edit Roster. This opens the roster editor for the current week — update your starters and your opponent's starters, then save. Your league's roster slots and scoring settings carry over automatically each week, so you only need to re-enter the players.
Can I change my league's scoring settings after creating it?
Yes, at any time — open the league from Manage Accounts and click Edit to revisit roster slots and scoring settings. That said, these generally don't change mid-season for a real league, so we'd recommend only editing them to fix a mistake rather than as a regular habit — changes apply retroactively to how your entered rosters are scored.
What is the Prop Tracker and how do I use it?
The Prop Tracker lets you log your own prop bets and follow them live without switching apps. On the dashboard, click + Add Prop, search for a player, pick a stat type, enter your line, and choose over or under.
Each prop shows your player's current live stat value, a progress bar, and a hit/miss/pending badge that updates in real time as the game plays out.
How does the DFS Stats tab get my contest results?
From a CSV file you export and upload yourself — PointStack never connects to your DraftKings account directly. After a contest finishes, go to DraftKings' Gamecenter, open Standings, and export the contest to CSV. Then on your dashboard, click RESULTS on the matching lineup card and upload that file.
This is deliberate, not a missing feature: DraftKings' terms of service don't allow automatically pulling your contest data, so a manual upload is the only way to track this without violating them. Once uploaded, your rank, percentile, ownership leverage, and (if you fill in buy-in/payout) profit and ROI all roll up automatically in the DFS Stats tab.
My scores look stale or aren't updating.
- Click the sync button on the dashboard to force a manual refresh
- Scores only auto-update during active NFL game windows — Sundays, Monday Night Football, and Thursday Night Football. Outside of those windows, scores won't change because there are no live games
- There can be a 1–2 minute delay between real-world play and what you see in PointStack
A player on my roster isn't showing live stats.
PointStack matches players you enter by name against live stat data, so this is almost always a spelling/name-format issue. A few things to check:
- Use the player's full standard name (e.g. use the autocomplete suggestions when entering a roster or prop rather than typing freehand)
- Make sure you selected the correct NFL team for the player, especially after a trade or signing
- Defense/Special Teams entries should be selected by team, not by an individual player's name
If the player is correctly entered and still shows no stats, it likely means they haven't recorded any relevant stats yet in the live game.
I paid but the app is still showing free features.
Try signing out and back in — this refreshes your account status. If your subscription still isn't recognized after that, email support@pointstack.app with the email address you used to pay and we'll sort it out quickly.
